For this project, I created a sub-label for Collina Strada called, 'Fiesta Botanica' that takes inspiration from the brands fun and bright aesthetic and brining more to the table with inspirations coming from Vegetables, fruits and flowers.

Using the headers ' more colours and prints', 'more monochrome and basic', 'low price' and 'high price' to compare Collina Strada's potential competitors to see where the market gap is
This is a User Persona to better understand my target audience and consumer tribe, so as to create products that they would be interested in purchasing.

I shortlisted 'Lazy Oaf' and 'Hugo kreit' as two of the top competitors of Collina Stra to see how they would fare when compared to one another and where Collina Strada's strengths and weaknesses are so that i can make use of it as an opportunity to bring something new to the brand while maintaing the brand's identity.

Mood board for my sublabel, 'Fiesta Botanica'. Inspired by vegetables, fruits and flowers that ties into Collina Strada's colourful and whimsical aesthetic. Wanted my product to be customisable to make it more sustainable as it can be worn in various ways.

Some ideas that i came up with, for my product range:
Idea 1: A Flower inspired bag that is modular and can turn into a balaclava. The petals are muti-coloured and the body of the product is made wirh fabric scraps and uses a technique called Fabric Slashing.
Idea 2: A Pumpkin-inspired product that is modular, changes from a big draw-string pouch bag to a bubble skirt. The string is pulled to turned into a pouch and there is a zip to close the opening at the bottom of the skirt.
Idea 3: a Lotus-inspired handbag that has lace cut-outs with each cut-out having a loop to attach keychains or any customisable pieces to the bag. The body is made with Fabric Slashing technique.
Idea 4: A Lettuce-inspired head scarf, with ruffles that looks like lettuce
Idea 5: A Cauliflower-inspired handbag with ruffles for the bag strap to mimic the leaves of a Cauliflowrr and the body of the bag has puffy gathers to create the shape of cauliflowers.

I decided to make Idea 3, the Lotus-inspired handbag as i was intrigued by the unique shape and wanted to challenge myself with sewing plastic and applying the Fabric Slashing technique to make my product more sustainable by not wasting any fabrics.
This is the material board for the selected product i wanted to create for my sublabel.
