This project is a collaboration between 'ANIYE RECORDS' and 'Tord Boontje', the formal being a fashion brand and the latter being a industrial product designer. To come up with a range of outfits that fits both their aesthetic and with a theme.
My theme is 'Desire' is inspired by the greek mythology, Icarus. The ego of icarus and his overwhelming desire to soar to unattainable heights, embodying both the allure of ambition and the devastating consequences of excess. When one’s desire blinds them and they are unable to see the tragedy that awaits them if they are too arrogant and desire too much.

Choice of Colour Scheme
The colour choice of whites, grey, black and maroon. With white showing the initial purity embodies the aspiration to soar, to reach the sun, much like Icarus in his initial flight. White is also a symbol of new beginnings and possibility, reflecting the dream of success that feels unattainable but irresistible.
Grey represents the in-between state of rising ambition, the uncertain journey from aspiration to reality. It evokes ambiguity—not purely good nor evil, but the blurring of boundaries between success and failure.
Black marks the finality of downfall. It is the color of death and destruction, mirroring the inevitable collapse of Icarus' flight. As ambition reaches its peak and the wearer becomes consumed by ego, black serves as a visual representation of the end—the fall from grace.
Maroon, a deep and intense color, ties into the emotional and physical toll of ego and excessive desire. It represents passion, blood, and the sacrifice required for ambition to thrive. Maroon signals dangerous allure, a warning that unchecked ambition leads to sacrifice, and that the cost of desire is often far greater than anticipated.
